This bathroom has got some major issues...
It had some seriously hazardous looking shag green carpeting on the floor when we moved in. Who puts carpeting in a bathroom??? Chris had that nasty thing ripped out before the moving truck drove away. The inspector had cautioned us that the toilet wasn't securely attached to the floor and suggested that we avoid using it until getting it fixed. As if I was going to use this bathroom anyway.
There was also the issue of this pipe in the basement that led from the bathroom:
Now, I'm no plumber, but I know that can't be good...
Chris has already started on the demo and we've addressed the plumbing issue in the basement. It's time to start picking out all the stuff that will make it look (and function) like a bathroom again.
